Professional Experience
Throughout my time in university I have worked in many places. Although each one of my positions vary from one another, I have grown and gained many skills while working in these places of employment and they all shaped me to be the person I am today in various ways.
Water Resources Engineering Intern-AtkinsRéalis
-Learned crucial engineering skills pertaining to drainage design and water resources as intern, working a
full-time position.
-Supported the drainage efforts associated with the widening and reconstruction of a roadway with the use
of OpenRoad Designer.
-Processed Census, FEMA, NOAA, and geographical information to create maps using ArcGIS Pro for
a mitigation plan.
-Assisted with cost estimating, technical memorandum development, data management and presentation
materials.
Target Corporation
-Seasonal General Merchandise Expert
-Organized the aisles and products, kept track of packages, and reshelved the aisles with packaged items all
while being expected to meet my daily time goals for each designated task.
-Worked 20-30 hours a week alongside other coworkers to help run the beauty section and communicated with
customers daily to solve their problems.
Mathnasium
-Tutored k-12 students in math skills pertaining to their levels and abilities.
-Operated with a staff of peers to keep the center running 5 hours a day, 2-4 times a week.
-Gained math education teaching techniques through training and became a certified instructor.
Honors & Awards
I have had the honor and privilege of gaining many distinctions for my work in university. While some correlate to my major and field of study, engineering, a few span in many different categories. From the varied intersectional display, I am proud to showcase my hard work and hope to add onto this list.
University Scholars Program Participant
-Awarded a stipend of $1750 to do a research project under a University of Florida faculty member throughout the
2024-2025 school year.
Honors Envision Creative Writing: 2nd Place Winner -Awarded $200 for a short story titled “Workers of the World Unite!!!” that I submitted to the annual creative work
competition hosted by the University of Florida’s Association of Honors Arts and PRISM Magazine.
Atkins Realis Foundation Scholarship Spring Recipient
-Awarded $4,000
SCUDEM VIII: SIMIODE Challenge Using Differential Equations Meritorious Ranked Team
-Solved a given social problem by using differential equations and creating mathematical models with R. Once finished,
my team created a presentation “Irrational Behavior: A Mathematical Approach to Modeling Aggression”.

-Awarded $1,000
Environmental Challenge International 3rd Place Team Recipient (A&WMA)
-Teamed up with peers to propose effective solutions to environmental problems based on selected companies’
GHG emissions “Company Assessment of GHG Carbon Emissions & Implemented Adjustments towards Carbon Neutrality”.
