About
Olutimilehin Sobanjo is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Florida pursing a B.S in Environmental Engineering. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida she constantly grew up with and was exposed to different aspects of nature. Through this introduction, an interest was gained in the environment which cultivated over the years into a deep fascination with the environments' inner workings and the current issues it faced. This newfound passion, accompanied with her already inquisitive personality, led her towards enrolling within the environmental engineering program. While at UF, she has involved herself in research positions, classes, and school organizations, and courses that have helped her contextualize her vast ideas and enthusiasms in her field into plausible goals which can be achieved through hard work, creativity, and research. When she is not in the lab or preparing for school, one can catch her writing short stories, reading a good book, or cooking some new interesting fusion food recipes in her apartment kitchen.
