Research Focus: My research focus of the project was to investigate microbial dynamics and the movement of microorganisms, predominately bacteria microorganisms.
Project Responsibilities: While working under Dr. Jamel Ali, I was tasked with tracking bacteria movement using NIS software and Image J tracking. This was conducted by digitally tracing their speeds with respect to time. Once the tracking was done, measurements were done on the number of bacteria in each frame of the time sequence and notes were taken on the different bacteria's movement velocities.
